This is the Dreamland Intelliheat Fleecy Heated Mattress Protector in a Double size and with a single Intelliheat Control unit. It is designed to fit a standard double size mattress that measures 137cm x 190cm and up to 30cm in depth.
Instead of having ties to hold it in place it goes on in the same way that a fitted sheet does with an elasticated skirt all around the outside edge to hold it in place and covers the whole upper surface of the mattress. This style tends to be more secure than a standard electric underblanket and does not lift at the corners.
To use simply switch the heated mattress protector on just before you go to bed and select the fast pre heat option. This only takes 5 minutes to warm your bed so by the time you have finished in the bathroom your bed will be warm and toasty. When you are getting into bed select your preferred temperature on the handset and set the timer. You can choose to have the heat on for 1 hour to soothe you off to sleep before it switches off or you can choose the 9 hour option which means that the heat will stay on all night long.
